Health Ministry announces the Yemen’s 7th case of swine flu
The Public Health and Population Ministry announced on Tuesday the discovery of a new case of swine flu in a 47-year-old Yemeni who arrived from the United States. The officials have confirmed the country’s seventh case of swine flu.
Director of Epidemiological Monitoring and Combating at the Health Ministry Abdul Hakim al-Kohlani said the new infection that was discovered was in a 47-year-old Yemeni from Ibb province returning from the United States.
The patient has been hospitalized for the required treatment and completely quarantined, according to the instructions given by the Atlanta-based Center for Disease Control, which has been monitoring the disease from the beginning.
Total number of swine flu cases that have been discovered in the country has risen to seven cases
