KUALA LUMPUR :Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai met members of parliament from both sides of the house and assured them that the H1N1 situation in the country was under control.
KUALA LUMPUR: It is the stringent health measures taken that has helped contain the influenza A (H1N1) outbreak in the country. Director-General of Health Tan Sri Dr Ismail Merican said the country would otherwise have faced the same situation as Singapore, Australia, Japan and Thailand.

Sometimes we get frightened to death and paralysed by stories of a pandemic from diseases overseas and ignore the real danger literally lurking and killing in our very own backyards.
SEPANG: The Youth and Sports Ministry has no plans to bar athletes from taking part in overseas competitions due to the influenza A (H1N1) global pandemic until it is advised to do so by the Health Ministry.
