The Department of Anesthesiology at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia provides service to:
* 7 operating rooms – servicing open-heart surgery, neonatology, pediatrics, neurosurgery, ENT, general surgery and obstetrics/gynecology
* A Pre-Anesthesia Clinic
* Endoscopy
* The Obstetrics Department
* The Radiology Department
* An Acute Pain Management Clinic
The Department’s professional team includes eight consultant anesthesiologists and eight assistant anesthesiologists.
Requirements
* American Boards or Canadian FRCPC in Anesthesiology
* A minimum of five years post-specialty certification experience in anesthestics in North America, and
* A minimum of three years of experience as Head of an Anesthesiology department
