Senior Medical Technologist – Generalist

Requirements

Lab services include (Chemistry /Hematology / Blood Banking/Serology / Microbiology)

As the Senior Technologist you wil provide an accurate, efficient and relevant diagnostic service.  Work closely with fellow workers and the Director to maintain the role of the department as a model of excellence in diagnosis, consultation, research and teaching. Ensure compliance with professional standards, laboratory safety regulations and controls, and quality assurance programmes.

  • Bachelor of Science: Medical Science (or equivalent) with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience or Diploma in Medical Technology (or equivalent) with minimum 8 years’ relevant experience working in a North American healthcare facility.
  • Current registration/license as a registered medical laboratory technologist from Canada (CSMLS) or USA (ASCP)
  • Must have experience in: Chemistry /Hematology / Blood Banking/Serology / Microbiology
