The Physical Therapy Department at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia provides both Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy services.

Orthopedic, neurological, musculo-skeletal, oncology, cardiopulmonary, women’s health, development, and wound care patients are seen in an inpatient, outpatient, home health care basis.

In 2006, the department received more than 43,000 patient visits, and administered more than 77,000 treatments. And it received a 96% outpatient satisfaction rating.

Occupational Therapists provide goal directed and purposeful activity to aid in the development of adaptive skills and performance capacities. There are approximately four Occupational Therapists on staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy, and
• Current licensure as a Occupational Therapist in Canada or the United States, and
• A minimum of three years experience, including at least one year experience at a senior level, as a Occupational Therapist in North America.
