MEDICAL PHYSICIST
Job responsibilities:
• Assist in determining the measurement and characterization processes of medical radiation from the applicable therapy treatments and simulation equipments prior to clinical utilization to enable the provision of effective treatment care to patients
• Design and evaluate treatment plans and techniques , by means of computer and/ or manual computation, which will deliver a prescribed radiation dose to effectively treat cancer patients
• Assist in managing a comprehensive Quality management program on equipments, radiation oncology , imaging and nuclear medicine processes to ensure compliance with regulatory rules and the provision of safe and high quality care and service
• Advise radiation therapist on the implementation of treatment plans so that they are carried out effectively and according to the procedures
Job requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in physics or medical physics
• Minimum of 3 years clinical or hospital experience under the supervision of senior Medical Physicist
• Minimum 1 year experience a related ward function
• Posses extensive knowledge of physics in medicine
• Good computer skills in a mathematical computation, documentation and presentation
• Good communication skills
