Head Radiology Services

The Department of Radiology provides a complete range of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities in support of the tertiary programs provided at the hospital. All specialty areas of imaging and intervention are staffed by fully qualified consultants and professional technical staff. The department features 3 MRI suites; 4 CT suites, including one multislice CT unit; 8 Ultrasound suites; 2 Angiography; 2 Fluroscopy; PET Center; and CT/PET unit being installed. The X-Ray modalities have been replaced with state of the art digital units, all networked with the recently commissioned PACS technology, Additionally, there is a state of the art Nuclear Medicine section equipped with 5 gamma cameras, carries multitude of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The Department provides sub-specialized consultant expertise in all areas of medical imaging as well as vascular and non-vascular minimally invasive therapy/interventional radiology. Other available facilities include Tele-radiology and 3-D lab.
Requirements:
* Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Bachelor Degree in Medical Imaging and,
* A minimum of TEN years of Radiology experience, including four years experience in Radiology Department management, in a large acute-care hospital in North America.
* Must hold current registration in Canada (CAMRT) or USA (ARRT)
