The Job

You will be part of a dynamic team of multi-disciplinary professionals in providing holistic care to individuals with hearing disorders and their families. You will facilitate the (re)habilitation of individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing using the principles of Auditory-Verbal Approach. You will also teach patients’ families and caregivers to use technology to aid patients in developing their spoken language ability.

Formal training will be provided by Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapists.

Requirements

* Degree in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Education of Special Needs Children, Education, or related field
* Experience in teaching adults and children, providing family-centred therapy, or collaboration with various agencies would be an advantage
