The Job
You will be involved in an antimicrobial stewardship programme to identify, resolve, and/or prevent drug-related problems in patients receiving these antibiotics in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will actively participate in regular ID clinical rounds, provide timely and accurate drug information, document the outcomes of patient care, and oversee drug distribution activities. In addition, you will educate the general public, patients, students and fellow healthcare workers on safe and effective anti-infective medication use via various communication channels. You will have opportunities to advance the knowledge-base in ID by performing relevant clinical and/or translational research.
Requirements
§ Degree in Pharmacy
§ Registrable with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
§ Minimum 3 years of clinical working experience in Infectious Disease with demonstrated competency in this area of practice
§ Relevant post graduate degree and/or clinical certification/competency is preferred
