Clinical Associate (Medicine)
Clinical Associates are foreign-trained doctors who are granted temporary medical registration to work in specifiic departments in the Hospital. They will perform duties equivalent to that of a medical officer level. Clinical Associate positions are available in the Departments of Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Renal and Rehabilitation Medicine.
Requirements
Candidate must possess basic Medical Degree, with minimum 3 years’ post-housemanship experience as a Medical Officer in a relevant medical department of hospitals with at least 250 beds. Those who have completed training in a relevant medical discipline and possessed relevant postgraduate qualifications such as MD, MSc, Diplomate, or its equivalent will be considered favourably. In addition, candidates must currently be in active clinical practice. Candidates whose undergraduate medical studies are not conducted in the English language must provide evidence of English Proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL or OET score).
Remuneration
The successful candidate will be paid a salary of S$2,510 per month, Housing allowance of S$500 per month (if applicable), renewable one-year contracts (subject to performance and availability of positions), airfare, relocation allowance, annual leave, night duty allowance when rostered to perform stay-in night calls, subsidised medical and hospitalisation benefits and gratuity upon the successful completion of the contract.
