The Rashid Hospital is a 600-bed tertiary-care hospital. The Rashid Trauma Centre is part of the Rashid Hospital. It houses facilities for emergency medicine, surgery, and ICU and treats adults and children suffering multiple traumas. The Trauma Centre has approximately 135,000 ER patient visits per year, with an admission rate of approximately 10%.

Reporting to the Nursing Director, the Clinical Educator: provides clinical and educational support to Trauma Center staff; assumes primary responsibility for the development, implementation, and evaluation of orientation, education, and skills training programs; and supports the clinical practice.

The Rashid Trauma Centre wishes to develop a dedicated Paediatric Trauma service, so they are looking to recruit a Padiatric Nurse Educator to take on the role of not only raising the standard of trauma paeds nursing, but paeds nursing in general.
