The Job
You will receive and process specimens, perform routine and special laboratory tests for viral infections using, among others, cell culture and virus isolation techniques, immunofluorescence microscopy and serological assays. You will also assist in preparing various types of media, as well as engage in quality assurance and improvement tasks.
Requirements
* Degree in Science with major in Microbiology, Life Sciences or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory; or Polytechnic Diploma in Science with at least 8 years of experience in a clinical laboratory.
* Relevant working experience would be an advantage.
