The National Stroke Association of Malaysia (NASAM) is a non-profit community service organisation. Our primary activity is the provision of rehabilitation services to improve the quality of life of stroke survivors. We have a vacancy for a Rehabilitation Manager and we invite suitably qualified candidates in terms of qualifications and experience to apply for the post.

REHABILITATION MANAGER
(Selangor)

Responsibilities:

* Managing and overseeing the day-to-day rehab services of the organisation at its eight centres around the country.
* Review and update the rehab therapy programmes whenever appropriate to keep abreast of new rehab approaches and technologies.
* Identify and organise training programmes for rehab therapy staff to ensure that their skills and knowledge are up-to-date.
* Develop and implement public awareness and education programmes on stroke for the Malaysian public.
* Support and participate in the fund-raising activities of the organisation.

Requirements:

* Qualifications in physiotherapy and relevant work experience.
* Experience in working with stroke survivors would be an advantage.
* Management Skills – Planning – Organisation – Supervisory
* A strong sense of integrity and sincerity
* Good public relations and interpersonal skills
* Language Skills: Fluent in English – Competent in Bahasa Malaysia
* IT Skills: Word Processing, Spreadsheets
* An ability to work independently with minimum supervision
* Applicants should preferably be Malaysian citizens or residing permanently in Malaysia

About the Job

* This job requires regular outstation travel to NASAM centres around the country
* It is not suitable for applicants seeking opportunities for career development.

* The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
