Nurse
We are a reputable international school seeks to invite hardworking and interested candidates for the following position:
A school nurse position is required to work under the direction of the Health Care Coordinator at the clinic of a private international school.
Nurse
(Selangor – Based at Ampang)
Responsibilities:
1. Applying the nursing process to care for ill and injured students aged 11-18 years old during the school day and the extensive extra-curricular program.
2. Administration of medications and treatments as well as caring for students with chronic health needs such as asthma, diabetes and physical handicaps.
3. Health promotion and education including scheduled wellness screenings.
4. Team member to serve as a health information resource for the school community to include family, faculty and staff.
Requirements:
1. Registered Staff Nurse with qualification and license approved by The Nursing Board of Malaysia
2. Minimum 3-5 years of nursing work experience
3. Must have a good command of written and spoken English language
4. Public health and adolescent experience preferred to include general health screenings & health promotion
5. Must possess strong nursing assessment skills and be able to apply the nursing process
6. Must be able to work independently
7. Must be computer literate and able to work on MAC computer
8. Working experience with various cultures preferred
9. Team player with good interpersonal skills who enjoys working with children and their families
10. Experience with sports injuries and wound care beneficial
Benefits

2. Working hours: 9:15am – 6pm (Monday to Friday) and weekends sports activities with extra compensation
3. Monthly transport allowance of RM185
4. Monthly telephone allowance of RM60
